American Baptist Church formed on May 17, 1907 in Washington DC as a branch from the Triennial Convention. Having nearly 6,000 congregations containing almost 1.5 million members, this denomination is one of the largest Protestant churches in America.

The ABC believes that the Bible is the one true word of God and has the final word on all matters concerning faith. The ABC also recognize the holy trinity existing as three persons in singular unity.
