
The Reformed Presbyterian Church is of Protestant denomination and is Mainline Calvinist and Evangelical in its orientation.
As of 2008, the church had roughly 2.2 million members globally participating in more than 10,750 congregations. It was formed in June of 1983 as a result of the merger between the Presbyterian Church of the US and the Presbyterian Church of the USA.
Its founding principles and beliefs are rooted in the ideas of service, Christian evangelical responsibility, and charity and goodwill to all men, even unbelievers.
