Aultman College is a health-system affiliated college on the campus of a 682-bed hospital serving a five-county area. Crime statistics posted on this website include any activity reported to Aultman Security Services by patients, visitors, employees and the public, which translates to foot traffic of more than 2 million encounters per year.
Due to perceived ambiguity of the Department of Education crime definitions, the aggravated assault figure includes any assault that may have occurred on Aultman property, including domestic and psychiatric unit incidents. The burglary figure represents any type of theft on the hospital campus.
Aultman Hospital employs comprehensive security strategies to keep its campus safe, including more than 200 surveillance cameras, an emergency security phone system and a 58-member Security Department. Security escorts are available to everyone, including students to and from parking lots 24 hours a day.
